They are working on it for a long while (the very beginning of this project, the concept at least is 5 years old), and they don’t want to disappoint us, or themselves.īut who is that R.J. I am however convinced that these guys want to make sure you get something polished, before they release anything. Secretly I hope they won’t go Early Access, but I think they will eventually try to make it an Early Access title, given the potential money flow it will generate. So I hope you see how excited I am for this game! But I do hope they keep working on it, until a more solid release. This makes it feel fresh.Īlso, I was impressed with the Unity Engine when I saw Prehistoric Kingdom ( ), but Saurian does an amazing job as well! Just look at this Pre Alpha gameplay! But this time you are actually living the life of a dinosaur, instead of being a bullet sponge that bites. Most of the dinosaur games I know, who implement playable dinosaurs, make them a faction that fights alongside or against humans.
Hunt, eat, sleep, do everything to survive and flourish as a dinosaur. The main idea of the game: you are one of a few selectable dinosaur species, 66 million years back, in Hell’s Creek, and you live the life of a dinosaur. The amount of attention these guys put in this project is amazing. So this project called Saurian wandered away from my attention, oddly enough, until I looked on their FB page today ( ) Then they announced they had a new website, and it looked GODLIKE! It looks so cool! And just like that, I got invested in the game again. So thank you guys, who try make us relive the age of the dinosaurs! I can’t say that I have a problem with that, in fact, it’s fucking awesome! I have waited years for the amount of dino related projects appear out of nowhere.
Years of dinoless videogames, and within a year dinosaur games are sprouting up like it’s the newest hype. Thank you guys, for all the views, subscriptions, and for being dinosaur fans! I will try to talk about the Jurassic Park movies in an upcoming blog, but for now: I just wanted to get these things of my chest.

I just got back from the cinema, and boy, this is the movie I have waited for since Jurassic Park 3!! It exceeded all of my expectations and I can especially recommend this movie for all the fans of the original one, because this is a movie with tons of fan service, and throwbacks (IN A GOOD WAY)!! What a piece of dinosaur art! And I can’t wait, till I get my hands on Lego Jurassic World!!! Now we just have to wait for the releases…Īnd the last reason I’m so happy, is of course: Jurassic World This game just came out of nowhere! I will talk about in another post, don’t you worry! But the point is: I am so happy and thrilled about all these new IP’s, made by really ambitious people.

You could say my kind was at the brink of EXTINCTION (please laugh…).īut suddenly…BOOM! We’ve got Prehistoric Kingdom (they have released a Tech Demo!!), Mesozoica, Saurian, Beasts of Prey, but also The Isle (they also have a Tech Demo, but my pc can’t run it properly…), and the biggest surprise:Īrk Survival Evolved Stomping Land just got stomped on! Lately I’m seeing so many new dinosaur videogames, I can’t hardly believe it! It came out of nowhere! Before I always thought I was one of the few who truly loves dinosaurs. So I don’t know how many people I have reached with this post, but I honestly don’t care.īut this is not the only reason I’m so happy at the moment. So that means I at least entertained you 5 guys enough, that you subscribed? I’m flattered, I really am! Maybe I’m a bit overreacting, but I am just pleasantly surprised!Īt the moment I’ve got 5 subscribers. To think that more than 500 people took the time to enter my blog…amazing.
